If you’re looking for clean, comfortable, budget accommodation then look no further. The Plough Hotel has been welcoming visitors for well over a hundred years, and we continue to extend our warm and friendly greeting to this day.

Originally built as a coaching inn in the 1890’s, The Plough Hotel, a budget accommodation provider, now offers today’s levels of comfort and hospitality including; Freeview tv channels and FREE wifi in all our rooms and public areas.

Conveniently located close to the town centre, a few minutes walk from the main shopping and commercial areas. The Royal and Derngate Theatre and Northampton Rugby’s Franklins Gardens.

Silverstone Race Circuit, Rockingham Motor Speedway, Santa Pod Raceway, Billing Aquadrome, Althorp House and Stoke Bruerne Canal Museum are all within easy driving distance.

Checking In To Your Budget Accommodation is from 2pm to 11.30pm | Check-out is by 10.30am – via our Staffed Front Desk.

To make special arrangements for check-in please contact us at least 72 hours before your arrival. Early check-in is subject to an additional fee of £20 (subject to availability.) Please note that we do not have a lift. The Plough Hotel is a non-smoking property however we do have designated smoking areas outside.

We are pleased to offer 37 relaxing, non smoking rooms, all with tea/coffee making facilities, FREE WiFi and flatscreen TV.
Our front desk operates 24 hours a day.
Daily housekeeping is provided and ironing facilities are available on request.
Children are welcome however extra beds and cots are not available.
Pets are not allowed (however, service animals are welcome and are exempt from any additional fees.)
For our business travellers we have wifi in all of our rooms as well as public areas and we are pleased to offer a fax/photocopying service for a small charge.
